About Me

Hej!

My name is Ashley Wells and I am a sophomore at Carthage College studying Management and Marketing! I grew up in a little “country” town called Salem which is actually located in Kenosha! (A 30 minute commute from Carthage if I want to bother my family).

This blog is intended to show my experience as I travel to Gothenburg, Sweden for my first Carthage J-Term abroad studying International Marketing! I will be posting daily blogs about various company visits, a hockey game, defiantly what I got while shopping, eating AMAZING food, and so much more!

I am so fortunate to be going on this trip and experiencing business culture in another country (something I have always been interested in learning more about). With that being said, I look forward to gaining more insight on international business practices and gain cultural skills that I can apply for my career!

Here is my beautiful family that I will miss SO much while I’m gone. We’ve been fortunate enough to travel together as a family (this picture was taken last May in Hawaii). I’ve always loved traveling with them but have NEVER been out of the country without them so I admit I’m nervous! They are my biggest supporters and role models and I could not be more thankful! Yes, even you Alexandra!

I will also really miss my Alpha Chi Omega sisters! One of the best things I have ever done is join a sorority. Not only did I gain so many incredible sisters, but have had an amazing and fun experience within the chapter. I’m so happy and honored to be a part of such an amazing organization that has given me so many opportunities! I am now the VP PR and Marketing E-Board position and absolutely love promoting the chapter.
