I attend Carthage College which is a 4 year private, liberal arts college located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Carthage offers a J-Term where for 3 weeks, students have the option to take a class on campus or abroad for credits. I chose Sweden as I am a business major and wanted to learn more about international business as it is an international business and marketing trip. We will have incredible access to executives from about 10-12 companies, including ABB Robotics, Volvo Cars, Saab Aerospace, SKAPA (a major ad agency), SKF Ball Bearings and we’ll visit a few smaller start-up companies. We have also partnered with Goteborg University, who will provide local experts for private lectures & we’ll join a few classes with their students. We will be going on fun and exciting adventures, including a gourmet cooking class with a famous chef, attending a professional hockey game, an afternoon of curling, shopping and much more!
